The informations below will guide you through the most important issues concerning your Erasmus Study Period at Polkowice University, as well as provide some useful tips while you are already here.
The general rule is that to be able to accept your application we need to have a bilateral Erasmus+ agreement with your university, so please check the list of our partners. Currently we have bilateral agreements with the following universities:

General informations before coming to Polkowice University
In order to be accepted as an ERASMUS+ exchange student, you must be a student of a partner university which has signed a ERASMUS+ Bilateral Agreement with The Jan Wyzykowski University (JWU).
Application procedure and deadlines
The standard deadlines for the submission of the Erasmus+ exchange applications are as follows:
- For autumn semester: 15 June
- For spring Semester: 15 December
Once you have undergone the recruitment at your home istitution successfully, please make sure your Institutional Coordinator sends us your nomination. You will also be asked to send us the documents listed below:
- a copy of your passport / ID,
- 2 photographs 35 mm x 45 mm (3,5 cm x 4,5 cm), each photo signed with your name,
- Application Form for incoming students, which must be signed by ERASMUS+ Coordinator from your Home Institution,
- Learning Agreement, which must be accepted by your Home University.
Please, make sure that the documents are complete, and that you have included your actual date of arrival, a valid e-mail address, and that all the documents are signed and sealed.
Then the complete application should be send via registered letter to the address of Polkowice University Institutional Erasmus+ Coordinator.
After you have successfully completed your stay at Polkowice University – take all your exams and ask the Coordinator to provide you with a Transcript of Records paper. All your marks and ECTS points should be put on this document, so that your home university would receive the complete paper, and you will have those subjects recognised.

Medical insurance and service ECTS
Students from EU/EEA countries are entitled to medical services on the basis of the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) or its equivalent. The card should be obtained from students’ national health services before their departure for Poland.
